This mug is suitable for dried foods and even drinks. Please note: this cup is not vegan friendly, it has been sealed with lard. Since it is new, the cup will sweat for a short period. To add to the seal, it is recommended to eat foods that are high in starch (such as oatmeal or rice) and fats (oils and butter) in the cup. Hot liquids can be poured directly into it as well. The cup can also sit over an open fire. Please be cautious that this cup (and spatula) retains heat very well, so handle with care. It is not recommended to use this cup (or spatula) in a microwave or dishwasher. For optimal use, please store in a cool, dry area. This item can be cleaned using boiling water and a cloth, allow time to air dry before continuous use. For more detailed information on the optimal care options, please reference the FAQ section. *Ceramic spatula pictured is included.*
